The Washington Irving Inn is a historic Inn and BnB in the Catskill Mountains of Greene County New York. We are situated very close to Hunter Mountain Ski area as well as Windham Mountain Ski Area. Belleayre Mountain is not far to our South. In the Summer, we are 15 minutes from the Garlic and Horse festivals in Saugerties New York. Canadian Tourists stop here for a fine rest on the way to Cape Cod and NYC!

New York State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 20 (Saugerties). At the end of the ramp turn left at traffic light. Make the first right turn onto Rte. 32N (opposite Hess station). Stay on 32N for six miles to a blinking yellow light. At blinker, bear left onto Rte. 32A. Take Route 32A to the end (2 miles). At traffic light, turn left onto Rte. 23A West. Continue on 23A West for about 8 miles. Washington Irving Inn is on the left side of Route 23A about 1 ½ miles from the traffic light in Tannersville.
