Eight percent (8%) New York State sales tax applicable. Service charge or gratuity is not included in your room rates but left to your discretion.
The Washington Irving Inn accepts Visa, Master Card, and American Express. Your credit card number will be taken when you reserve your room. A deposit will be required at that time and will be applied to the last day of your stay.
Cancellations according to the following schedule:
Weekend-14 days prior to arrival date;
Holiday and Peak Periods-30 days prior to arrival date;
Midweek-3 days prior to arrival date;
We understand that things can change, but if you do not cancel your reservation within the abovementioned times, you are responsible for one night’s stay, which will be applied to your credit card.
Our Inn is a smoke-free establishment.
We regret that in consideration for the majority of our guests, we must prohibit the smoking of cigars, cigarettes, and illegal substances in all our rooms. Due to the difficulty in removing the smell from furnishings, a $200 cleaning fee will be applied to your bill.
Please refrain from using scented candles or incense during your stay at our Inn. Both are hazards, and a fragrance that may be pleasant to one guest may not necessarily be so to the next guest.
All special events require a 50% down-payment. All major credit cards accepted.
Special events must be cancelled a month (30 days) in advance for a full refund.
The last day to make your reservation at the special rates is 30 days prior to the date of the function. This special rate is NOT available after the cutoff date.
